**Job Description: Senior Audit Associate II**

**Position: Senior Audit Associate II**

**Role Expectations**:

- **Supervision**: Oversee all aspects of the audit engagement, including planning, preparation, completion, review of workpapers, writing audited financial statements, and attending client meetings.
- **Mentorship**: Train and mentor junior staff members.
- **Growth and Advancement**: Experience significant growth opportunities and the chance for career advancement.
- **Policy Adherence**: Understand and implement the firm's policies and procedures.
- **Technical Expertise**: Possess the technical knowledge necessary to supervise staff accountants.
- **Client Relations**: Develop and maintain strong client relationships and loyalty.

**Responsibilities for Financial Statement Engagements**:

- Develop expertise in GAAP, OCBOA, specialized accounting principles, and financial statement presentations.
- Gain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures.
- Efficiently supervise both audit and non-audit engagements.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
- **Certification**: CPA license, CPA exam passed, or requisite hours to sit for the CPA exam.
- **Experience**: 5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting. Experience auditing not-for-profit and affordable housing entities is preferred.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and QuickBooks.
- **Accounting Skills**: Strong accounting knowledge and abilities.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- **Multitasking**: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strict project deadlines.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to adjust schedule as needed to meet deadlines.
- **Work Authorization**: Must be authorized to work in the US.

Pay: $93,347.22 - $110,353.64 per year
