Shipping Clerk

**Job Summary**

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for supply chain management, ensuring the timely transfer and/or delivery of raw materials, final products, DTC and Taproom orders and any other materials that the company needs transported. Other tasks as assigned due to business needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick up packaging materials and cidery/brewery consumables from various outside companies and store them in designated areas at both company locations
- Prepare and deliver packaged product from both production facilities to Sebastopol Taproom twice a week and as requested
- Prepare and deliver items between both production facilities as needed
- Prepare, package, and ship online retail orders
- Verifying the details pertaining to all shipping/receiving documents and inventories, and process necessary paperwork as needed.
- Prepare and package marketing materials to be shipped with wholesale orders
- Cross-train with the packaging team to ensure that there is adequate coverage during busy periods or in the event of absences, further facilitating cohesion between the two departments

**Skills & Qualifications**
- CA driver’s license with clean driving record. Experience driving fleet vehicles, including cargo vans and box trucks preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including extended hours and overtime as needed
- Good reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand and follow directions, as well as listen and communicate with co-workers
- Strong and proven work ethic, and ability to multi-task workload
- Forklift certification or experience preferred
