Design Application Specialist

Position Purpose

Utilize CET Designer to create drawings and specifications for orders, production, installation, and quotations.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Utilize CET to create 2D and 3D drawings to assist customer service with communicating quotes, orders, product production and installation
- Provide drawings and bills of materials to Customer Service for quotations, as assigned
- Produce and review detailed documentation and drawings for multiple projects
- Work closely with Customer Service, Design, Engineering, and Production Specialists to accurately communicate design intent
- Consult with sales reps and dealer designers to ensure complete and accurate furniture specifications
- Create production reference guides to convey technical customer requests and installation instructions to product fabricators and handlers

Additional Functions & Responsibilities
- Keep all assigned project files and drawings organized
- Interpret drawings, notes and revisions of furniture plans in CET
- Report any CET issues to the Design Technology Manager using Jira

Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience working with CET Designer required
- Associates degree in Interior Design required, Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Must have the ability to work remote
- Must be detail-oriented with a solid understanding of importance of accuracy and precision in work
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in Adobe InDesign a plus
- Experience with Project Spec or CAP a plus
