We have transitioned some of our **LPNs **to our **51-bed Airway Unit** and are in search of some additional **LPNs.** Here at Peoria Post Acute, we hire for the who, not the what. **Compensation**: LPN $30.00-$38.00 an hour

**Job Type**:

- LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or
- LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse)
- Full time/Part time NOC Shift
- **(Benefits Only for Full-Time Employees)**.

**Shifts**:

- **FT/PT NOC**:

- 5:00pm to 5:00am
- we may be adding a day time shift as well so feel free to ask

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering medication etc.)
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
- Provide instant medical care in emergencies
- Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

**Skills**:

- We provide you with up to 30-Days of Training/Orientation and more if needed.
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Knowledge of emergency care
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
- Team player
- Responsible and compassionate
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Problem-solving skills

**Licensure/Requirements**:

- LPN or LVN License
- CPR/BLS
- **Fingerprint Clearance Card**:
