Benny’s on the Beach

Job Description: Looking for team leaders to contribute to accomplishing higher service standards and quality with new menus and kitchen practices.

Chef owned and operated restaurants looking for dedicated and reliable LEAD cooks focused on quality of ingredients, techniques and interest in learning new styles of cooking and be an important member of the team in a high volume kitchen.

We focus on quality of ingredients, techniques and interest in learning new styles of cooking - the way we cook at the beach We encourage becoming an important member of the team in a high volume kitchen.

The position would entail training and focus on:

- PM (late lunch & dinner service)
- Kitchen team practices, cleanliness, organization
- Lead line cooking station (team leader during service)
- PM Saute knowledge and support and Fish Cooking

**Responsibilities**:

- Arrive on time and communicate with management
- Maintain a very clean environment including walk-in, all kitchen areas and stations
- Follow instructions for proper cooking from management and be able to ask any question to confirm you cooked items are correct
- Pride and passion for what you do in the kitchen. It is an art and skill that we hope you are proud of
- Respect for all team members
- Flexible schedule (weekends required)
- Multitasking-ability to cook multiple items at the same time and understand the timing of these items. Food is sold as a team together check by check. Communication is important.
- Positive attitude and ability to accept direction from managers. Enjoy working with team members
- even under pressure.
- Basic knife skills required for prep work and station execution
