**PURPOSE**

The Procurement Specialist will work with leaders to understand the needs of our organization and ensure we achieve our supply goals in a timely manner. The responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist will include researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet our specifications and negotiating with vendors as needed.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
- Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
- Review invoices against packing lists for accuracy and submit to accounting department to process for payment.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have 3+ years of related experience. Manufacturing industry a plus.
- Basic computer, MS Office, office equipment skills required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
