We are hiring a **Housekeeper** to join our **Facility Services Department**.

**EXPERIENCE/SKILLS**:

- Custodial and cleaning experience preferred
- Skills in operating custodial cleaning equipment and tools
- Knowledge of solution, chemicals, and pertinent cleaning supplies
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Must have conversational level of English

**POSITION PURPOSE**:
Provides routine and special cleaning services throughout Rowntree Gardens. Vacuum, spot clean areas, mopping and waxing floors, empty trash in offices and restrooms.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Routine cleaning of offices (carpet cleaning, waxing floors, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, disinfecting, etc.) assigned and general areas within the Facility.
- Routine and special cleaning of all bathrooms used by resident, employees, and visitors.
- Routine and special cleaning of all public and common use areas within the main building.
- Removes curtains, drapes and dividers for cleaning.
- Disposes of waste and trash.
- Assist in the receiving and distribution of all laundry to the laundry facility.
- Routine folding of linen, loading and unloading washers and dryers.

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**:
**Part-time AM Shift**:

- Monday & Thursday - Saturday from 7:00am-3:00pm

Due to California State regulations, we are required to have all our applicants pass a Background Check, Physical, and TB test.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.85 per hour
