Summary of Position

A REMIX Bartender sets the mood for our guests Bartenders, or Mixologists, mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses and bar utensils and balancing cash receipts to record sales. This person is responsible for keeping their day-to-day operations on pace and to expectations, all while maintaining a positive morale and team environment. Training is a large part of our operations, so patience and building mentorships is pivotal for continued success in this role. For our guests, our Bartenders answer questions, react quickly, and maintain a proactive approach to customer service and hospitality.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to:)

*Maintain positive attitude *Verify identification and age requirements of customers *Mix traditional and creative cocktails *Process payment from customers *Clean glasses and bar utensils *Maintain efficient and bar to high standards of cleanliness *Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences *Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits *Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift *Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere *Strong attention to detail *Ability to switch tasks quickly and effectively *Greet customers with a smile *Ability to take direction with little follow up *Ability to work independently *Take a leadership role in all aspects of operations *Answer questions quickly and accurately to our standards *Take a positive, respectful approach to delegation *Lead by example *Communicate consistently with store manager and ownership

Cleaning Requirements (same requirements of ALL levels of employees at REMIX)

*_Maintain bathrooms_ *_Replace trash barrels_ *_Maintain family bathroom/changing areas_ *_Restock cleaning supplies_ *_Mop and sweep large sections_ *_Life, move, reposition furniture to ensure cleanliness_ *_Scrub-clean various surfaces_ *_Have work be inspected routinely for optimal results_

Physical Requirements:
*Ability to be on feet continuously during shift *Ability to lift 40lbs consistently *Ability to jump, crawl, slide through equipment for safety checks *Ability to work on hands and knees *Ability to speak clearly and confidently *Ability to climb ladders

**Qualifications**:
*Prior experience as bartender *Have leadership qualities *At least 18 years of age *Ability to pass a background check with no concerns *Reference check(s)

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $12.00/hour.
