As the Client Relations Manager in our San Diego office, you'll be a key player in our firm's client relations and business development efforts, reporting to the Head of Client Relations and Education. Your responsibilities include developing and executing initiatives to meet strategic goals and meeting marketing KPIs set by firm management. You'll oversee various tasks like managing project processes, executing marketing campaigns, generating new business, and analyzing data for informed decision-making. Additionally, you may supervise projects handled by other marketing professionals. Exceptional communication, project management, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role, along with a creative and methodical approach. Ideally, you'll have a good understanding of the insurance industry to provide strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Manage marketing activities, creating and implementing marketing plans, identifying/targeting specific client opportunities, and managing all aspects of the firm’s marketing technology database, HubSpot.
- Analyze and report on KPIs and make recommendations.
- Use metrics and data to track and report on campaign performance.
- Use metrics and data to inform decisions, make recommendations, create opportunities, and support business development efforts.
- Manage the firm’s RFP responses, including developing timelines and project plans for deliverables, managing cross-departmental requests for content, ensuring responses are on message for the audience and delivered to meet client deadlines, and ensuring final versions of all RFPs are archived for searchability and future use.
- Manage programs with external service providers (e.g., event venues, branded corporate gift vendors, sports events, etc.)
- Provide support on marketing initiatives for Schaefer City Technologies to develop business, create opportunities, support engagements, and grow the company’s revenue.
- Collaborate with the firm’s Communications Department on content-driven deliverables.
- Collaborate with the firm’s Education & Training department and manage the marketing aspects of innovative campaigns for internal and external training programs.
- Manage and support firm involvement in various legal networks and insurance industry organizations.
- Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub expertise required.
- B2B marketing experience in a professional services company, preferably a law firm.
- Experience working in an insurance company is a plus.
- Ability to integrate and drive new firm initiatives.
- Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines, prioritize initiatives and projects for self and others, and communicate shifting deadlines to stakeholders and team members.
- Excellent methodical thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong project and time management aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a high performing, respectful, goal-oriented team.
