**Responsibilities**

Assess patient/family health problems and resources taking leadership role in the development implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing are and interventions to acutely ill neonates pediatric adolescents adults and geriatric patient populations.

No two days in emergency nursing are ever the same. You’re a multitasker who can react quickly as you’ll prioritize patients based on their medical necessity while you’re providing emergency triage to others. As part of our ER team, you’ll partner with an experienced clinical team to deliver stabilizing care to our patients by performing IV starts, foley catheter insertions, or aiding providers with chest tube insertions.

To thrive as an ER nurse, you should exhibit teamwork, professionalism, critical thinking skills, and a willingness to take on additional projects such as patient experience initiatives. More than anything, you should be energetic and motivated to provide quality care to all of our patients, maintaining their dignity at every step.

Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000. Advanced Practice Providers and Faculty Physicians can receive up to $90,000 if full-time and hired within a year of completing their residency or fellowship. **Qualifications**
**Minimum**:

- AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
- American Heart Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- ADN Diploma from an accredited school of nursing BSN or MSN Foreign Equivalent
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

**Preferred**:

- Two (2) years recent ED experience
- BSN

**Pay Range**
$32.50 - $58.90 /hour
