The Makeup Academy provides quality makeup education for aspiring artists in our industry leading academy in New York City. Students from all over the world learn from well-established professionals in the field giving students much-needed exposure to the business leading to freelance opportunities with companies like Macy’s, many Broadway shows, New York Fashion Week, Milk Makeup, Roc Nation and many more.
This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a self-motivated leader with amazing sales skills; has a friendly, caring, and enthusiastic nature with a can-do, results-oriented attitude.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create, build, and maintain strong relationships with students throughout their education to gain referrals and strengthen our alumni support
- Keep contact with prospective students through consistent calling and texting campaigns reaching enrollment goals.
- Assist in clerical aspects of the admissions process including file management
- Assist with event organization for masterclasses and other sales events
- Utilize CRM, Social and all channels to engage with potential students
- Engage with industry partners from beauty brands, designers, photographers, modeling agencies, etc to sell the amazing opportunities involved with joining our program
- Support social media management, posting, marketing initiatives, etc.
**Qualifications**:
- 3+ year of experience in sales - meeting and exceeding sales goals in a results driven environment - recruitment or real estate experience will lend to good experience for this sales role
- Excellent customer service, and communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Mac OS, CRM, etc.
- Social Media expertise. Instagram, blogging, Tiktok, outreach
- Detail-oriented;
- Strong oral and communication skills
- A calm, patient personality
- Highly organized
**Details**:
Must work varied schedule including weekdays, evenings, and weekends on campus in the Academy. Mostly weekday role.
Position available to start ASAP

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
