Junior Underwriter

**Job description**

**Responsibilities**
- Review Construction and Bridge mortgage loans with full knowledge of policies and procedures ensuring compliance with guidelines
- Work with loan processors to prepare complete files working to meet required deadlines
- Responsible for generating condition lists for borrowers, working with processors to clear and recommending that loans be approved or denied
- Work with all parties on loans and assist and facilitate closing of deals.
- Ensure that all data is entered accurately into the loan origination systems and ties to the appropriate documents
- Utilize proprietary borrower portal and loan origination system to manage workflow providing visibility to the team to collaborate on pipeline progress

**Qualifications**
- Bachelors or Associates degree
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft products
- Previous experience is a strong plus
- Ability to evaluate data, process verbal and written communication and use intuition
- Desire to take responsibility and raise your hand to help solve issues

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year plus bonus
