Weld Prep

Responsibilities:

- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as stick welding and pipe threading.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process.
- Assemble and fabricate metal components according to specifications.
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and weld metal parts.
- Operate a forklift and crane to move materials and equipment as needed.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in stick welding techniques.
- Knowledge of pipe threading processes.
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools for precise measurements.
- Familiarity with operating power tools and mechanical equipment.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with press brake machines for bending metal.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Note: Additional skills may be required based on specific job requirements.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
