**Contract Role/Position to Fill**:

- Photographer - Contract Only. This is not a full time nor part time position.

**Role/Position Requirements**:

- BA degree in Photography or equivalent work experience
- Must have experience as a Photographer in a studio environment and experience with lifestyle shoots, ideally in the Fashion E-Comm industry
- Expert knowledge and proficiency in photography equipment and software such as Capture One, including Adobe Creative Suite
- Comprehensive portfolio demonstrating creative and technical expertise. Review of portfolio & social handles are a must for this position
- Ability to photograph high volume of images and meeting image volume thresholds within each hour per shoot consistently
- Proficient in Canon EOS digital cameras and associated equipment or similar
- Ability to photograph all categories assigned
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- File management, archival skills, and file delivery to workflow standards
- Evolve the established creative aesthetic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Able to commute to POL Clothing’s main office studio and offsite locations as needed (start and end hours per photoshoot may vary)

**Test Shot Trial Disclaimer**: Any new contractors or first time photographers with POL Clothing must undergo and conduct an in-house studio test shot. Photography equipment, including the company camera will be provided on site.

**Role/Position Primary Responsibilities**:

- Establish lighting and set esthetic, and photograph assigned products and/or models
- Liaise with the Creative Director and E-Comm Coordinator in maintaining high quality photography for elevated E-Comm product images and various weekly lifestyle content photo shoots
- Closely adhere and abide by POL Clothing’s photographic standard guidelines or as instructed by the Creative Director or Coordinator
- Implement creative methods for best lighting, set design (when allowed) and model poses, both in studio and off-site locations, to produce high quality, elevated images
- Utilize different compositions, techniques & settings to capture prop & product textures, colors & other macro details - specifically as it relates to fashion products and ensuring that it reflects the brand's values, guidelines and messaging
- Ensure color consistency across all images
- Ensure daily shot counts for all sets and/or meet image count thresholds per photoshoot
- Be comfortable using overlays during the shooting process to ensure product images are consistent in shape and scale
- Be able to shoot on set from anywhere between 4 to 8 hour days both on site and off site locations
- Work with the Creative Direct and Coordinator to capture and enhance specific product features
- Ensure that all tasks and efforts aligns to company vision, goals and mission
- Have good problem-solving skills as relates to accurately capture images on set and off site locations. This includes problem solving lighting issues, compensating for contrast on product, maintaining accurate color and exposure and other various unforeseen elements that might disrupt image consistency
- Must be able to multi-task with excellent time management skills
- Excellent understanding of lighting techniques and composition
- Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all photography assets
- Manage and maintain photography equipment and studio space

**Contracted Hours**:

- Standard hours can range anywhere from 4 to 8 hours per photoshoot and will vary depending on the type of photoshoot

**Expected Contracted Wage Range**:

- $125 to $150 per hour (higher ranges dependent on photography experience)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Seasonal, Freelance

Pay: $125.00 - $150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 24 per week

Compensation package:
