Ops Human Resource Assistant

The OPS Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Department of Psychiatry. Primary responsibilities include:

- Assist in recruitment and staffing, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, benefits administration, organizational development and training
- Processes and human resources related transactions to ensure accurate and timely resolution
- Explains and answers questions regarding routine policies or procedures
- Provides administrative support for the human resources related functions
- Serves as a liaison between college/administrative unit personnel and human resources
- Process volunteer appointment approval
- Ensure all required training and health assessments have been completed
- Enter data and updating spreadsheets
- Running reports
- Assist with completion of HR forms
- Process employee requests (ID badge requests)
- Prepare and file away documents in employee files
- Other duties as assigned

**Expected Salary**:
$15.86-$19.00

**Minimum Requirements**:
Highschool Diploma or equivalent and three years of appropriate experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledgeable in databases
- Knowledgeable in spreadsheets
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Knowledge of business formats
- Knowledge of basic math

SKILLS
- Skilled in databases
- Skilled in spreadsheets

ABILITIES
- Ability to type accurately
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing)
