WE WILL TRAIN A CANDIDATE WHO HAS MECHANICAL ABILITY AND/OR PRINTING EXPERIENCE.Basic Function: Position is responsible for slitting and / or rewinding production material to remove poor quality or to meet specific customer requirements.Reports to: Printing Department SupervisorEssential Functions / Position Responsibilities:Slit/rewind material with Stanford and/or Dusenbury slitter/rewinder machines.
- Inspect quality of printed plastic packaging.
- Remove defective material from rolled plastic with cutting tools.
- Pack finished rolls on pallets manually, using roll carts, or using hoists.
- Move material as needed using powered and unpowered equipment.
- Ability to provide regular and predictable attendance and the ability to adhere to a set work schedule as defined by Superpac
- Other duties as assigned
