Supply Specialist II IPBO

Provides services in support of asset requisition, receipt, short-term holding, inventory, issue, redistribution, classification, turn-in, maintaining hand receipts/annexes, adjustment reports, reconciliations and serial number and unique item tracking. Uses the appropriate property book LIS for transactions, accountability and reporting. Provides Limited/ Selected Force Modernization Equipment Fielding Support. Performs these functions in accordance with AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1, AR-735-5, CTA 50-909, CIPBO SOP, GCSS-A End User's Manual, AR 840-10, and AR 25-400-2. Provides information to support CDRL SS-01, Supply and Services Report. Accomplishes tasks identified in the Performance Work Statement to include:

- Monthly verification of property book transactions
- Print out on-line reports available in the automated property book system for internal use and external distribution to applicable activities
- Maintain current listing of hand receipt holders
- Assist with functions for managing the Installation and Table of Distribution and Allowance (TDA) Property Book
- Provide asset requisition, receipt, short-term holding, inventory, issue, redistribution, classify and turn-in
- Maintain hand receipts/annexes
- Process adjustment reports, conduct reconciliations; conduct and report serial number and unique item tracking; and use appropriate property book LIS for transactions, accountability, and reporting
- Provide Limited/ Selected Force Modernization Equipment Fielding Support
- Perform all functions in accordance with AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1, AR-735-5, CTA 50-909, CIPBO SOP, GCSS-ARMY End User's Manual, AR 840-10, and AR 25-400-2
- Maintain and update hand receipts
- Maintain files of authorization documents, supply catalogs, and related reference material to accomplish editing of customer requests and to assist customers as required
- Process receipt documents, issue documents and report of discrepancies for durable, and non-expendable supplies and equipment
- Report serviceable excess automated equipment to the Defense Automation Resources Management Program (DARMP) for redistribution

Requirements and Skills:

- Two years of experience in the military supply field with one year of experience working at the in Property Book Office operations.
- Certification in Global Combat Service Support System -Army (GCSS-Army)
- Ability to identify needed remedies or improvements, and recommend solutions.
- Skilled in effective oral and written communication to explain regulations, update policy and instructions, conduct investigations, provide program information to management and customers, and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the organization's supply operation. Guidelines consist of supply, procurement and automation manuals and regulations as well as applicable Department of Defense, Department of the Army, Major Command and local instructions and policies. - Must be U.S. citizen and possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently and have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate both orally and in writing
- Must be proficient in the use of computers and MS Office Software
- Must be able to obtain a CAC and work the assigned shift hours
- Must possess a valid state driver's license; may be required to be licensed to operate Government provided vehicles
