**Job Summary**:The Security Officer is the person responsible for ensuring the safety of all scholars, staff, and visitors and the security of the building and grounds. It is the expectation that this individual will work with the colleagues, parents, and scholars to create a school environment that is focused on scholar achievement, character and success beyond high school. The Lincoln Academy is a school where scholars and families are supported, while maintaining high expectations for all. The Security Officer is expected to fully embrace the school’s methodology and uphold the high expectations of The Lincoln Academy. The Security Officer will support an equitable environment with rigorous instruction, joyous interactions, and strong community partnerships. Though it is impossible to list all roles the Security Officer will fill, specific job responsibilities include:
**Essential Functions**:

- Monitor the playground and school events to ensure the scholars are safe
- Assist with morning drop-off and after-school pickup to ensure scholars and guests arrive and depart safely from school
- Monitor cameras in the building to watch for any security needs
- Assist the leadership teams in obtaining security video from cameras
- Ensure compliance with established rules and regulations. Assist in the recommendation, development and implementation of improvements to systems and procedures
- Other duties as requested

High School Graduate required
Associate's Degree preferred

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
