OSI Optoelectronics is seeking a Semiconductor Fabrication Operator 3 that will perform wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices. They will also operate equipment in performing alignment, masking, etch and diffusion.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle wafers and operate various equipment in performing functions such as: wafer scribe, diffusion, photoresist, alignment, masking etch, various evaporators, metal etch, and disco saw.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date lot traveler records and data sheets on lots in process.
- Recognizes equipment and product problems, notifies supervisor and/or troubleshoots errors in order to achieve optimum production levels.

- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent required. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of wafer fab experience preferred.
- Basic problem solving skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to use a microscope regularly.
- Capable of working with and around chemicals, including acid (safety training will be provided).
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
