**BODYARMOR** is looking for a Lab Technician to join our team.

The **BODYARMOR** Lab Technician is a key member of the Quality team responsible for handling sensitive equipment, analyzing samples, and reporting test results to the Lab Manager to meet all **BODYARMOR **compliance related objectives. This individual will be able to quickly identify, report, and mitigate microbiologic risk for finished product and raw materials to support continuity of safe supply through our network nationwide.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform tests on finished products and raw materials at a high level of throughput using the required methodology according to quality guidelines.
- Operate and assist in the evaluation and calibration of testing instrumentation.
- Interpret data to verify that materials meet specifications.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of all tests performed.
- Responsible for receiving, labeling, and organizing retain samples and the storage facility they are kept at.
- Ensure Good Lab Practices are maintained.
- Conduct basic sensory and analytical tests.
- Perform daily housekeeping to keep lab clean and organized.
- Participate in sensory testing when necessary.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- In-office attendance required Monday - Friday.
- Bachelor’s Degree required in natural or food sciences
- Lab experience preferred
- PCR Experience preferred
- Basic microbial knowledge and aseptic techniques.
- Knowledge of GLPs
- Strong communication and planning skills.
- Coachable and eager to learn attitude
- Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel
- This is an hourly paid position with the hourly rate between $30/hr-$38/hr.
