**Summary of Duties**: Under the immediate supervision of a Parks Supervisor, Foreman or a Crew leader perform skilled and semi-skilled work related to maintenance and renovation of parks and recreation facilities, grounds, pathways, and landscape.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Concrete work through placement, finishing and modifying, constructing parks and recreation related facilities such as playgrounds, picnic pavilions, fishing docks, bridges and pathways, and installing landscape.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all required equipment and facilities.
- General knowledge on installation, maintenance and repairs of park and recreation facilities and amenities.
- Perform duties in support of development and maintenance of parks, pools, grounds, restrooms and sport fields.
- Paint, repair and refurbish fixtures, signs, equipment and other miscellaneous items as needed.
- Operate and maintain various hand and job related power tools.
- Participates in emergency response teams.
- Must meet and maintain the requirements of the driver safety policy.
- Employee may be required to work special events on nights, weekends or holidays.
- Other duties as assigned.
