The role of the Estate Recovery Unit (ERU) Chief is to directly supervise the business process involved in the Medi-Cal Estate Recovery program. Under the general direction of the Special Collections Section Chief, the ERU Chief supervises the research and analysis of each Medi-Cal recovery case to determine monies owed to the Department of Health Care Services.
