Office Bookkeeper

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper/Data Entry Clerk to join our finance team and contribute to the efficient management of our financial records.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Retrieve records and electronic files from the database
- Enter in invoices, receipts, and handle financial statements
- Sorting and organizing paper records or notes after data entry
- Work collaboratively with accountants to conduct audits or tax preparations
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizing abilities and great attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software such as QuickBooks
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; further training or certification in Bookkeeping is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
