**Responsibilities**
- Provide daily interface with and communications support for a VIP Federal customer
- Work with a highly qualified technical team

**Requirements**:

- **Active TS/SCI eligible clearance and Security + certification**:

- **BA/BS** in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics
- 6-8 years in database administration and management
- Use **SQL tools **to monitor daily database activity and health
- Experience creating complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Views, Cursors and User Defined Functions to implement business logic
- Knowledge of migrating, backing up, and restoring databases in place or to new environments
- Familiarity with other relational database systems such as **PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.**:

- Experience overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of **PostgreSQL** databases in Kubernetes and Linux environment.
- Experience with containerization technologies (**Kubernetes, Docker**) and cloud services (**Azure, AWS**)
- CI & CD development experience with technologies like **Gitlab, Bash or Jenkins**:

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with **PL/pgSQL** or similar procedural language
- Experience with **Linux/Unix **and scripting languages such as **Bash, Python, Json**:

- Able to support and troubleshoot **RDBMS platforms** on Linux, Kubernetes and Windows environment

**Bonus Skills**
- Experience executing utility requirements such as reorganization, back-up, and recovery
- Analyzed and resolved database system production problems
- Analyzed user requirements, statistics, and participated in database design and performance evaluation reviews
- Advised system engineers on database coding issues
- Prepared system documentation
- Involved in the data modeling process

Pay: $180,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
