**Job description**

**Title**: Wire Harness Assembler

**Work Schedule**: Monday
- Thursday 6:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Build Wire Harness from documentation and drawings (Various types of wire including; shielded cables, coax wire and metal over braid, branched breakouts etc.)
- Crimp terminals/contacts on wires
- Read, understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, wire lists, etc.
- Make harnesses on harness boards utilizing schematics, 2D documents, and engineering part numbers
- Identify issues with reports and work with engineering to correct issues
- Maintain a safe, organized and efficient work area
- Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required
- Test devices using various test equipment.
- High attention to detail
- Solder a variety of electrical components.
- Use heat guns to install heat shrink and/or solder splices.
- Ability to work under pressure and able to work in a constant evolving and changing environment
- Check that completed assemblies perform to quality standards using test equipment and make adjustments if needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Sense of urgency.

**Nice to have**:

- Familiar with AS9100 Aerospace Quality Management System Standards a plus.
- Familiar with IPC-A-610 IPC/WHMA-A-620 IPC J-STD-001 standards a plus.
- Familiar with electrical test like: Continuity, DWV, IR.

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
