**Technology Specialist**

A successful Technology Lead will provide leadership and expert support to ensure the school’s technological needs are met in service of developing the next generation of innovators.

**Responsibilities**
- Providing technology support and troubleshooting for staff, parents and students.
- Managing or executing on IT projects and initiatives as requested by school and operations leadership (e.g. leading school technology distribution efforts)
- Leading staff trainings around technology and software best practices and general use
- Supporting school leaders on opportunities to integrate technology as a tool to achieve academic and instructional goals.
- Demonstrating knowledge and skills in content and technical areas, including keeping current with best practices and trends in instructional and educational technology.
- Participating in weekly meetings with DPA technology and infrastructure provider to address existing IT needs, and strategically plan for future

**Qualifications**
- Strong knowledge and skills related to instructional and educational technology
- Relevant industry, functional or teaching experience
- Commitment to serving students in an an urban public or charter school setting
- Evidence of self-motivation, diligence and willingness to be a team player
- Strong interpersonal skills and high moral character
- Bachelor's degree with an outstanding record of academic achievement and leadership is required; Master’s degree is preferred
- Belief in and alignment with Digital Pioneers Academy’s core beliefs and educational philosophy is non-negotiable
