**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Walk dogs on designated routes and ensure their safety at all times
- Provide exercise and playtime for dogs to promote their physical and mental well-being
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding, medication, and any other special needs
- Monitor dogs' behavior and health during walks, and report any concerns or issues to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness of dog walking equipment, including leashes and waste bags
- Build positive relationships with dogs and establish trust to ensure a comfortable walking experience
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to provide updates on their dog's activities and behavior

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in animal care, such as dog training, pet grooming, or pet sitting, is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal behavior and ability to handle different breeds and temperaments
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with dog walking, including heavy lifting if necessary
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with both pets and pet owners
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate varying client needs
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.14 - $18.71 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
