**GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB**:
The purpose of the Seasonal Summer Lunch Coordinator role is to coordinate, oversee and operate the summer lunch program for the Greater Derry Salvation Army. The Coordinator will oversee this program in the absence of the officers to ensure the program is administered and continues.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist with annual summer Meals training for area sites.
- Oversee daily meal orders for assigned service areas and submit them to vendor.
- Manage and coordinate all site visits
- Oversee daily and monthly reporting.
- Ensure daily communication with sites for meal delivery and meal orders.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records for summer Meal Program audit.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of expenditures, including staff hours and mileage.
- Participate in necessary training sessions, meetings and conferences related to the Summer Meals Program.
- Oversee all aspects of daily administration and operation of the Summer Meals Program for area sites.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
- High School Diploma
- ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire
- KeepSAfe certification within 30 days of hire
- 1-3 years of similar work experience
- Postsecondary education is accepted in lieu of work experience
- Excellent communication skills Microsoft Excel.
- Access to communication devices including cell phone, internet, and laptop Required License
- Driver’s License
- Must meet Salvation Army vehicle credentials.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
