**Job Duties**
- Provide daily maintenance in resident rooms or apartments and throughout the community, as assigned.
- Complete assigned work orders daily.
- Perform daily repairs to all common areas throughout the community.
- Provide preventative maintenance to all tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Keep the maintenance work area neat and clean.
- Report safety hazards, structural damage, and all repair needs to the Plant Operations Director.
- Respond to all emergency or priority issues within 15 minutes.
- Assist Plant Operations Director and/or perform work on pumps, motors, fans, emergency generators, heating, air conditioning, domestic water, refrigerator, electrical, and swimming pool systems.
**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities**
- Knowledgeable with common repair techniques.
- Ability to perform general maintenance duties such as plumbing, carpentry, furniture, electrical and appliance repairs.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Organization skills.
- Knowledgeable on common tools.
- The ability to communicate with a diverse group of people within the community and other staff.
**Employment Requirements**
- AZ Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help you apply)
- Current 2-step TB test (available on-site)
- Maintenance experience is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be 21 years of age.
**Shift Availability**
This is a Non-Exempt FLSA status position.
Shift preference and availability will be discussed during the interview.
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on years of experience)
