Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in managing our financial transactions and providing essential support to our management team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update financial records, including but not limited to general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll records
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conduct technical accounting research to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Process journal entries and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with government accounting requirements, such as tax filings and audits
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles
- Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation and journal entry processing
- Knowledge of technical accounting standards and regulations
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Excellent 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team to meet deadlines
- Experience with inventory management and cost accounting is desirable but not required.
- Other duties as assigned

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
