The Division of Procurements and Contracts, Information Technology (IT) Procurements and Contracts Office is searching for an Associate Governmental Program Analyst. The IT Procurement Analyst will have the opportunity to establish partnerships with divisions and programs throughout Caltrans by providing education and consultation on how to properly obtain a wide variety of IT commodities, equipment, subscriptions, publications, licenses, and IT equipment maintenance for the Department. The IT Procurement Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and soliciting procurement requests using a variety of acquisitions methods. IT procurements have a higher degree of difficulty and require attention to detail that will allow the incumbent to develop complex technology and telecommunications skills and knowledge. Occasional participation on project teams.

Working Conditions

**Position located in Sacramento, Sacramento County.**

**This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent.**

This position requires at least two (2) days a week, in office. While at their base of operation, the incumbent will work in a climate-controlled office under artificial lighting. This position will also require the incumbent to adhere to all DPAC Management policies and procedures governing this arrangement. Travel may be required related to District or Program issues/concerns regarding acquisition priorities, training, and to disseminate acquisition policies**.**
