Baker

The Butcher’s Daughter is a busy, fast paced and vibrant vegetarian restaurant with three locations in the New York City area. We are home to locals, and a destination to travelers and we are expanding our locations We are looking for a Baker for our Venice location.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of delicious pastries, breads, and desserts. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our bakery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, breads, and desserts according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure the proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Familiarity with pastry, bread & pizzas
- Familiarity with producing high volume production
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of baked goods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
