Putaway Associate

General Plumbing Supply is NJ's largest independent wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, cooling and industrial products. With 23 locations and 13 showrooms showcasing decorative kitchen and bath products, GPS is a growing company with an active environment for employees and customers.

General Plumbing Supply is looking to add putaway associates to our 3rd shift in our Piscataway, NJ distribution center. Working hours: Monday through Friday, 6pm-2am

**What You’ll Do**:

- Putaway product using reach trucks and order pickers
- Timely and accurately process incoming shipments
- Efficiently utilize computerized systems and RF technology
- Maintain the quality and accuracy of data
- Close down buildings for the night
- Make sure all equipment is returned to the proper location, including forklifts connected to chargers

**Required for Success**:

- Two years warehouse experience using RF handheld devices
- Experience and a record of safety in operating reach trucks and order pickers
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds daily and heavier items occasionally
- Knowledge of plumbing, heating and HVAC products/items helpful
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 6pm-2am

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
