Activity Aide

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated Activity Aide to join our team in providing engaging and fulfilling activities for our residents in a senior care setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement recreational activities for residents based on their individual needs and preferences
- Assist in organizing events, outings, and programs to enhance residents' physical and mental well-being
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities align with residents' care plans
- Provide support and encouragement to residents during activities to promote social interaction and participation
- Maintain documentation of residents' participation and progress in activities

**Requirements**:

- Experience or knowledge in aging issues counseling, memory care, or recreational therapy
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members
- Ability to work in a nursing home
- Strong organizational skills for event planning and activity coordination
- Compassionate attitude towards senior care and promoting overall well-being

Pay: $15.56 - $15.76 per hour
