Courier/sample Collector

EMSL is seeking a Full Time **Courier/Sample Collector** for its **Carle Place, NY** location. This position is customer service oriented and involves driving to and from client locations picking up and dropping off samples to the laboratory. This person will be coordinating between the Carle Place, Long Island City, and Manhattan locations. They will on occasion drive to our Piscataway and/or Cinnaminson locations.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Pick up or delivery of time sensitive samples and/or equipment between client location and lab
Position requires driving for various lengths of time in and around NYC and NJ
Some evening and weekend work may be required as needed
Maintain written log of daily activity
Ensure vehicles service/basic maintenance is kept up
Assist with basic office/lab duties (sweeping, mopping, trash and light cleaning) when needed
Additional tasks as needed per manager, based on the business needs

**Requirements**:
High School Diploma or equivalent
One to two years of experience as a Courier/Driver is a plus
Must be willing and able to drive to New York City, throughout Long Island, Piscataway, NJ and Cinnaminson, NJ and other surrounding areas as needed
Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
Good with directions/using GPS
Able to lift min 40lbs
Organized and be able to prioritize tasks/deliveries
Excellent communication skills and good attitude will have daily interaction with company's clients

**Available Shift**:
Monday to Friday 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Pay range for this position is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.
