**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**

**Position**: Delivery Driver

**Job Location**:Norwalk, California

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Status**:Non-Exempt

**Summary of the Role**:
This primary function of this role is to support the logístical needs of the Branch.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Delivers all branch products to customers.
- Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse.
- Ships items to customers and processes internal transfers between branches.
- Associates is responsible for cleanliness and order of warehouse. Uses a forklift, pallet jack and other tools to accomplish tasks.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- This position requires mechanical inclination.
- Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers, and team-members in a professional manner.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure.
- Additionally, must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Other job duties as required.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- 1-3 years of related warehousing or production experience
- A high school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Ability to work overtime, as required
- Ability to work nights and weekends, as required
- Ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs independently on a repeated basis.
- Ability to consistently move throughout the facility during the full workday
- Ability to comprehend work instruction and safety procedures, written or verbally
- Ability to count and measure accurately
- Background checks and drug screening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Industrial setting experience
- Valid TWIC card, a plus
- B2B Delivery experience desired.

**Total Rewards**
- Competitive compensation plan, with a bonus potential of 5% of salary

**Total Base Pay Range**
- $33,622 - 50,433
