**Role: Jr. Data Center Technician with Networking experience MUST**

**This person will be local support for Ashburn, VA COLO.**

**Must-have experience with the following**:

- Maintenance of data center equipment
- Running cables: Copper & Fiber
- Equipment Racking of network gear, servers and power distribution unit
- Remote support
- Monitoring systems
- Maintenance of hardware mapping
- Level 1 troubleshooting for client servers and network devices
- Processing hardware RMAs
- Working through a ticketing system
- Deployment of machines (unboxing and racking)
- Documentation
- Work on-site
- YES 5 days on site during build stage, once Colo is built and in production probable in next 2 years, contractor will support virtually as work from home and will be required to come in when needed.
- Impeccable communication and customer service skills

**Nice to Haves**:
**Responsibilities**:
**a) **Maintenance of data center equipment.

**b) **Running cables: copper, fiber.

**c) **Equipment racking: PDU (including temp/humid sensors), network gear, servers.

**d) **Proactive monitoring of all production systems, including remote hands support when required.

**e) **Creation and maintenance of cohesive and accurate data center hardware map, including asset management for all ancillary hardware.

**f) **Provide first level troubleshooting and support services for client servers and network devices, as well as correction and routing/escalation when situations require.

**g) **Maintenance of company databases with accurate/current information.

**h) **Processing of all hardware RMA's.

**i) **Work with corporate ticketing system.

**j) **Maintenance of documentation.

**k) **Help with deployment of machines. (unboxing, racking etc.)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $47,543.80 - $100,000.00 per year
