Room Inspector

**Position Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions**:

- Inspect all guestroom/suites after cleaning. Correct minor cleaning problems found as needed, later reviewing any problems with room/suite attendant. Send room/suite attendant back to guestroom/suite to correct major and reoccurring problems. Recheck when ready.
- Accommodate guest special requests
- Complete and file inspection forms for inspected guestrooms/suites.
- Perform opening duties by assigning work to room/suite attendants and prioritizing workload.
- Perform closing duties. Ensure all carts are left cleaned and stocked. Collect and verify room/suite attendant assignment.
- Clean rooms/suites as needed.
- Notify executive housekeeper of any problems with rooms/suites.
- Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, these contained in the employee handbook.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience as room/suite attendant.
- Good communication skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
