We are a leading property management company committed to providing an exceptional living experience for all our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated Day Porter to join our maintenance team to ensure our property remains welcoming, clean, and efficiently managed.

**Job Summary**:
As a Day Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and operational efficiency of our apartment building. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure common areas are clean and well-maintained, assist in basic maintenance tasks, and provide excellent service to our residents and guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Maintain cleanliness and order in all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, recreational rooms, and outdoor spaces.

Perform daily upkeep tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.

Assist with basic maintenance issues and report any major requirements to the property management team.

Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests promptly to ensure resident satisfaction.

Set up and take down communal spaces for events or as needed.

Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; request restocking as necessary.

Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.

Provide a friendly and professional point of contact for residents and visitors, addressing queries and concerns courteously and efficiently.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience in a porter, janitorial, or similar role, preferably within a residential building setting.

Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and use of maintenance equipment.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job including lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods.

Commitment to providing high standards of customer service.

Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
