Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team. As the Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all medical aspects of our organization. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

**Duties**:

- Provide medical leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services
- Manage and supervise medical staff, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversee medical records management and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with other departments to improve patient care outcomes and enhance operational efficiency
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest medical advancements and best practices
- Provide primary care services to patients as needed
- Coordinate occupational health programs for employees
- Utilize utilization management techniques to optimize resource allocation

**Skills**:

- Board-certified in a relevant medical specialty (e.g., Pediatrics, Internal Medicine)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and systems
- Proven experience in managing medical staff and overseeing clinical operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide leadership and oversight to the medical staff and healthcare team
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the medical department
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Collaborate with other departments to improve patient care and outcomes
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to optimize patient care delivery
- Provide clinical guidance and support to healthcare professionals
- Stay updated on advancements in medical technology and best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs

Qualifications:

- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in internal medicine
- Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice;
- Not in any disciplinary action
- EMR proficient (we use ECW) but not necessary we are willing to train.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within healthcare
- Strong knowledge of PREVENTIVE SCREENING 'ŽUSPSTF Recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Spanish and English speaking doctor encouraged)
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Preferably already in network with METROPLUS / FIDELIS/HEALTHFIRST; HUMANA/MEDICARE/MEDICAID or OTHER INSURANCES; if not willing to be credentialed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week
