Lifeguard (Seasonal)

We are seeking individuals with lifeguard certification as well as CPR/AED and First Aid to work the 2024 season at our pool facility. The pool is open seven days a week starting Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Essential Functions: Implements all water safety policies and procedures; supervises members and guests in and around the swimming pool.

Additional Responsibilities
- Not limited to the following
- Assists with maintaining the cleanliness of the pool; Vacuum, skim, etc.
- Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
- Administers to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.
- Maintains amenities in and cleanliness of changing rooms, bathrooms and showers.
- Enforces Rules of Conduct.
- Maintains all necessary records determined by the swimming pool director.
- Assists with the set-up and break down of the pool area.
- Checks first aid supplies and reports needed items.
- Organizes and monitors pool games at all times; suggests poolside games.

Attends all meetings as directed by the Pool Director.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

License/Certification:
