Job Summary:
Responsibilities and Duties:

- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by the physical therapist
- Instruct and educate patients on exercises and therapeutic techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Assist with the set-up and maintenance of therapy equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to all laws and regulations governing physical therapy practice

Qualifications and Skills:

- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Knowledge of basic physical therapy techniques and principles
