Behavioral Health Specialist

The Behavioal Health Specialist will work in partnership with the Projects team to execute and lead the Behavioral Health team at their designated site in the field for the organization. The Behavioral Health Specialist reports to the Director of Behavioral Health Core Competencies:

**Job Description**:
The Behavioral Health Specialist will:

- Lead, Plan, and organize the activities of the senior case Workers/Case Workers assigned to them.
- Train team of Sr. Case Workers.
- Provide oversight of all Case Management services to guests, ensuring all feasible needs are met.
- Ensure the team is utilizing the appropriate resources to complete tasks. - Ensure Sr. Case Workers/case Workers adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Collaborates with city agency partners and vendors as necessary.
- Attends all required huddles and meetings both for +MEDRITE/Staffing Boutique and city agencies.
- Models’ appropriate leadership behaviors and professionalism.
- Communicates effectively across all channels and with all stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing coaching and accountability for each team member in their role utilizing the performance management cycle.
- Respond appropriately to escalated incidents onsite.
- Project a positive image while interacting with the public and clients.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Spanish
- Knowledge of HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)
- Strong organizational abilities as well as the ability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiating, influencing, and active listening.

**Salary**: 70-74k annually

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Language**:

- Spanish,French,Creole,Wolof,Pular,Fulah,African dialects (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Queens, NY: Relocate before starting work (required)
