**JOB GOAL**: To assist children safely through street intersections and to monitor vehicle traffic.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School education preferred.
- Able to lift required amounts.
- Experience working with children.
- Work harmoniously with children.
- Ability to communicate with teachers and parents.
- Good physical condition with emphasis on sight and hearing.
- First aide training preferred.
- Pass a background check
- Must obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

**TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT**: 180 Days; 9 Months
**COMPENSATION**: $14.35 - $16.09
**BENEFITS**:As per District policy
**REPORTS TO**: Principal
**HOURS**:Part-time 7.5 hours per week - Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.8:15 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.3:30 p.m.
**CLASSIFICATION**: Hourly, Non-exempt

**PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Places traffic signs where necessary.
- Walks students through crosswalk where necessary.
- Monitors student use of line crosswalks.
- Reports violators, both pedestrians and vehicles.
- Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed.
