Barista/cashier

**Overview**: Compensation includes tips and may be higher than the range posted on this position. We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment. **Duties**: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages - Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality drinks - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register - Maintain a clean and organized workspace - Assist in food preparation and serving when needed - Provide excellent customer service by greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly manner **Skills**: - Proficiency in food preparation techniques - Experience with cash handling procedures - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong math skills for handling transactions and calculating change - Knowledge of food service and retail math concepts - Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on sales - Effective time management to prioritize tasks during busy periods - Understanding of food safety guidelines and practices Join our team as a Barista and showcase your passion for creating great beverages while delivering top-notch service to our customers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.36 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
