Lead Painter

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Painter to join our team. As a Lead Painter, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing various painting projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding as necessary
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Repair and patch damaged areas prior to painting
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete painting tasks
- Ensure proper storage and maintenance of painting equipment and supplies
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Provide guidance and training to junior painters as needed
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

**Skills**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong knowledge of various painting techniques and materials
- Proficiency in concrete finishing, plastering, masonry, stucco, and construction painting
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the painting trade
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Experience in construction estimating is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week
