Weighmaster

Working under the supervision of the Quarry Manager, this position is responsible for the daily operations, scheduling and workflow of the scale house, while providing excellent customer service. The Weighmaster will also act as backup Weighmaster in other locations as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Major duties include maintaining computerized records of material amounts, truck identities and issuance of weigh certificates in compliance with local or state regulations
- Taking orders and dispatching aggregate deliveries
- Schedule daily deliveries using company owned trucks as well as subcontracted trucks
- Issue sand/gravel weight certificates
- Maintain record of current license numbers and current tare weights of all trucks
- Coordinate with plant manager the staffing of yard personnel during high volume days
- Monitor scheduled inspections and complete scale reports
- Verify account status of customers
- Assist credit department by maintaining records that allow reconciliation in the event of discrepancy between customer and accounts payable
- Adhere to all MSHA, and OSHA rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
- Meet or exceed company safety standards
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Prior experience with aggregate products and dispatching a plus
- Computer skills a requirement along with Microsoft office products, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work regular workweek including weekends, and hours may vary depending customer needs (including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts)
- Ability to prioritize and multi task in fast pace environment
- Possess analytical, problem-solving (basic mathematical skills) and organizational skills. Be detail oriented and accurate
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) a plus
