**JOB TITLE**: Parts Driver

**DEPARTMENT**: Parts

**REPORTS TO**: Parts Manager

**SUMMARY**:This position is responsible for delivering and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership; ensuring the delivery truck is in a clean and operable condition.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Delivers & picks up parts as requested by Parts Manager.
- Loads truck in such a way as to eliminate damage to sheet metal and other fragile parts.
- Organizes schedule of deliveries to maximize efficiency and post schedule to make available for contact.
- Keeps truck clean and neat and regularly checks vehicle to keep in good running condition.
- Reports any malfunctions of parts vehicle to parts Manager immediately.
- Assists in keeping parts department & parts area clean.
- Makes pick up and deliveries safely.
- Calls the shipping department from each pickup and delivery stop.
- Picks up only parts that have a purchase order on the invoice.
- Updates delivery log after each delivery.
- Works with Parts Manager to identify potential clients.
- Completes sales calls as determined by the Parts Manager.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Valid Driver’s License.
