**You Are**:

- **KNOWLEDGEABLE**:High school diploma or equivalent required; Understanding of NFPA standards and state and local building and fire codes preferred
- **EXPERIENCED**: Previous fire alarm inspections experience a plus
- **A SELF-STARTER**:Learn quickly and use your resources to be successful in your role
- **ANALYTICAL**:Ability to read and understand technical information, analyze, think critically, and problem-solve
- **FLEXIBLE**: Possess a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record; travel to client sites regularly

**What You’ll Do**:

- **CUSTOMER-SERVICE**:Provide reliable, excellent quality customer support through on-site inspections and preventative maintenance services on fire alarm systems
- **KEEP TO CODE**: Ensure that inspections are compliant with local, state, federal, and district codes, regulations, and specifications
- **INSPECT**:Perform inspections on fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA and Authority Having Jurisdiction
- **DOCUMENT**: Recognize and accurately document deficiencies found during an inspection
- **COMMUNICATE**:Provide thorough and timely information to clients; Communicate status of work orders to supervisors and other office staff
- **BUILD RELATIONSHIPS**: Maintain positive working relationships with field and office staff
- **HANDLE**: Lift inventory, bend and stoop, carry and move materials, and load and unload vehicles
