SERVICE CASHIER/RECEPTIONIST

Mt. Kisco Honda is a well-established automotive dealership dedicated to providing high-quality vehicles and top-notch customer service. We are currently seeking a Service Department Cashier/Receptionist to join our team and assist in delivering a positive experience to our valued customers.

As a Service Department Cashier/Receptionist at Mt. Kisco Honda, you will be responsible for both managing the front desk and facilitating customer transactions. Your role is critical in ensuring a smooth and efficient service process and delivering excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Front Desk Reception**:
**Customer Greeting**: Welcome and assist customers as they enter the service department, providing a friendly and professional first impression.

**Appointment Scheduling**: Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service department to ensure timely completion of work.

**Customer Check-In**: Document customer vehicle details and service requests accurately.

**Cashier Duties**:
**Customer Checkout**: Assist customers with the checkout process after their service or repair is complete. Accurately calculate and collect payments for services rendered.

**Invoicing**: Generate invoices for service and repair work, ensuring all details are accurate, and all charges are properly documented.

**Cash Handling**: Handle cash transactions securely and accurately, providing change and receipts as needed.

**Credit Card Transactions**: Process credit and debit card payments and ensure all transactions are completed in accordance with security and privacy standards.

**Documentation**: Maintain organized records of all transactions, ensuring they align with the services performed.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a cashier or receptionist role is advantageous.
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Basic computer skills for invoicing and payment processing.

- Bilingual skills (if applicable) to assist non-English speaking customers
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing transactions
- Basic understanding of retail math for calculating discounts, taxes, and change
- Strong sales skills to promote products or services to customers
- Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain cash drawer integrity
